I have always had a passion for helping people be the best they can be. I feel a calling to use my knowledge as a nurse, diabetes educator and health coach to give people the tools to make healthy, informed choices.
When I became certified as a diabetes educator, I realized the mistakes I was making in my own eating habits. I learned why at certain times of the day I was really tired. I also learned why, despite my 30 minutes of intensive interval workout on my elliptical, I wasn’t budging the number on my scale. I also learned that I had pre-diabetes.
Through my knowledge as a diabetes educator and health coach and my passion for nutrition, I learned how to combine foods in a way that boosted my energy and helped me to lose weight. I have a family history of type 2 diabetes and through the changes I made I have lowered my blood sugars out of the pre-diabetes range.
With my knowledge and experience I have helped hundreds of people lose weight and improve their health. I want to help you make lifestyle changes so that you can feel good, look good and have great health!
